Protecting my galleries

Your photos are precious, and some galleries are private. Pelli gives you several levels of protection, to combine according to the desired degree of confidentiality.

Protect with a password

Enable a password: your visitors will have to enter it to view the gallery. Pelli can generate one automatically (8 characters), which you can replace with your own. You can also include it in the share link so that your client enters with a single click, without typing anything. The password is set per gallery and can be changed at any time.

Reserve access for your clients

Two ways to keep a gallery private:

• Disable "Allow downloading for everyone": only identified clients can retrieve the photos.

• Access control: attach the gallery to your clients' account (by email). It appears in their "My galleries" space, accessible only to them — and you can remove access whenever you want.

Mark your photos with a watermark

The watermark applies your logo or signature on the display of the photos. Important: it is never present on your originals or on downloaded or purchased files — it serves only to deter unauthorized retrieval during viewing. You can create several watermarks and assign one per gallery.

Limit in time with expiration

Set an expiration date to close access automatically. At the deadline, your choice: the gallery switches to draft (your photos are kept, you can reactivate it) or it is permanently deleted. An email reminder can notify your clients before the date.

Control downloading

You decide whether your clients can retrieve the files: downloading enabled or not, and for everyone or reserved for your clients. Disable it if you sell your photos, to prevent them from being retrieved for free.
