Your Pelli account is ready, time to get down to business! On Pelli, everything starts with a gallery: that's where you deliver, present, and share your images with your clients.
In your dashboard, click Create a gallery. You have four options, each designed for a different use:
Selection: your client chooses their favorite photos. Watermark and likes are enabled by default.
Delivery: send the final photos to your client. Download is enabled by default.
Portfolio: show your work, that's it. No client interaction, just your images.
Custom: do exactly what you want! All options are configurable, you have full control.
Good to know: you can change the gallery type at any time in the gallery settings.
Title: the name of your gallery (e.g. "Julie & Thomas Wedding")
URL: automatically generated from the title (e.g. yourname.pelli.io/julie-thomas-wedding). You can edit it, and if it's already taken, Pelli adds a suffix on its own.
Date: today by default
Categories: to organize your galleries by type of service, for example. You can create as many as you want.
Upload a cover image or use your default banner. A focal point selector lets you choose which area of the image stays well framed, whatever your client's screen.
Depending on the gallery type chosen, you have access to:
Watermark: protect your images with the watermark of your choice
Download: allow downloading or not
Selection: your client chooses their photos, with an optional limit and a price per additional photo if you wish
Comments: your clients can react to the photos
Password: Pelli can generate a random 8-character one for you
Welcome message: a short personalized message displayed when the gallery opens
Other options exist with the Ultra plan (integrated store, background music 
) — you'll discover them in due time.
By default, your galleries expire after 365 days. You can adjust this expiration period, choose what happens at the deadline (switch to draft or deletion) and enable an email reminder sent to your client before the gallery disappears.
Click Create: your gallery is ready, and you are redirected to it.
Your gallery is created, all that's left is to add your images!
