The collaboration feature lets you work with multiple photographers on the same gallery. Instead of creating separate galleries or sharing complicated access, you can directly invite other Pelli users to join your gallery as collaborators.
This feature is ideal for photography teams, studios, or events requiring several photographers (weddings, corporate events, etc.).
Multi-photographer eventsCovering a wedding with a second photographer? Create a single gallery and add your colleague as a collaborator. Each of you can upload your photos directly into the same gallery, making final delivery to the client easier.
Photography studiosDoes your studio have several photographers? Allow your team to collaborate on client projects without having to share passwords or create multiple accounts.
Team projectsWork with assistants, retouchers, or other collaborators who need access to your galleries to add content, manage clients, or organize photos.
Delegated managementDelegate the day-to-day management of your galleries to a member of your team while retaining full ownership of the gallery.
Important: The collaborator must already have an active Pelli account. If they do not, invite them to create a free account on pelli.io before adding them as a collaborator.
Open the gallery to which you want to add a collaborator
Click the "Collaborators" button in the gallery header
Enter the collaborator's email address (the one used for their Pelli account)
Click "Add"
The collaborator immediately receives a notification email and can access the gallery
Note: There is no invitation system with acceptance. The addition is immediate. Make sure you have the person's consent before adding them.
When another user adds you as a collaborator, you receive a notification email. The galleries shared with you appear automatically in your dashboard.
In the side menu, click "Galleries"
A submenu appears with two options:
"My galleries": your personal galleries that you own
"Shared with me": the galleries you collaborate on
Tip: The submenu only appears if you have at least one gallery shared with you. If you do not see this option, it means no one has added you as a collaborator yet.

When you are a collaborator on a gallery, a "Collaborator" badge appears in the gallery header. This lets you know immediately that you are not the owner of this gallery.
The "Settings" and "Collaborators" buttons are not visible to collaborators, only to the owner.
Open your gallery
Click "Collaborators" in the header
You will see the complete list of collaborators with their name, email, and date added
In the list of collaborators, click the delete icon next to the collaborator
Confirm the removal
The collaborator immediately loses access to the gallery
The gallery disappears from their "Shared with me" section
Note: No email is sent when a collaborator is removed. If you want to inform the person, do so directly.
Only the people you explicitly add as collaborators can access your galleries. There is no system for discovering or searching public galleries between photographers.

Do:Communicate clearly with your collaborators about expectations and organization
Define a folder structure before inviting collaborators
Regularly check your available storage space
Remove collaborators who no longer need access
Only add people you trust (full access to the data)
Avoid:Adding someone without their prior consent
Sharing galleries containing sensitive data with too many people
Forgetting to remove access after a collaboration ends
Relying solely on collaborators to organize your galleries (you remain responsible)
