The Smart Copy or Smart Copy feature lets you quickly copy the names of the photos selected by your clients in a format compatible with your usual workflow.
When your clients select their favorite photos, you can instantly retrieve the list of these images in the format suited to your editing software or file explorer.
Steps:
Copy the generated text (format: IMG_001 OR IMG_002 OR IMG_003)
Open Adobe Lightroom
Go to the library containing your gallery photos
Click on the search bar at the top
Paste the copied text (Ctrl/Cmd + V)
Press Enter
Lightroom will automatically display all the photos selected by your client, ready to be processed!

Open Windows Explorer
Navigate to the folder containing all the photos of your gallery
Click in the search bar (top right corner)
Paste the copied text (Ctrl + V)
Press Enter
Windows will display only the files matching your client's selections.
Steps:
Copy the generated text (format: name:IMG_001 OR name:IMG_002 OR name:IMG_003)
Open Finder
Navigate to the folder containing all the photos of your gallery
Click on the search magnifier (top right corner)
Paste the copied text (Cmd + V)
Press Enter
Finder will filter and display only the images selected by your client.
️Organize your folders: Keep all the photos of a gallery in the same folder to make searching easier
Consistent naming: Make sure the file names on your computer match those of the online gallery
Save the list: You can paste the text into a document to reuse it later

The format doesn't work in my software, what should I do?
Each software has its own syntax. Use the format matching your platform (Lightroom, Windows, or Mac).
Some images don't appear, what should I do?
Carefully check that the file names match exactly (with or without the extension depending on the case).
Can I change the format?
The format is optimized for each platform. If you have specific needs, contact support.
